Here's something probably worth noting, or at least preserving. photo-journalism.blogspot.com/ It's an old website by that guy who now does batteriesfeelincluded. Not many of you will realise this, but some time ago, a craze involving taking photos of mundane events and then commenting on them swept the iNtErNeT. The degree to which it swept the iNtErNeT is debatable, but there's some good stuff on there, particularly in the Lonely Journeys section.

I agree. I've now read nearly all of them. I could probably visit my friend who lives in Swansea and retrace your steps! Although that's not really as motivating as it is creepy...

Inspired by your photo journal I'd like to submit for your contemplation my breakfast from last Friday: twitpic.com/6xrcx As it was before I started mind, not when I'd finished with it or how it might look now. Apologies for the blurring, I was suffering some major hangover shakes. How does this shape up in breakfast stakes for y'all? I was disappointed in the sausage both in quality and in quantity

I was going to ask about that sausage before I read the bit about the sausage. My question was: is that thing in the middle a sausage?

Yeah but it was more of a porky hot dog. I much prefer a proper 80% + pork sausage, proper meaty like. This is still the best breakfast available in Guildford and I've tried pretty much all of them

For the picture I should've rranged the sausage to sit between the two black pudding portions....

You're lucky you didn't. What you haven't realised is that that would have made them appear to symbolise male genitalia.

Ah, Jon. You're wisdom really has been invaluable in highlighting the folly of my photographic intentions.

I have to use phoneboxes sometimes because I regularly lose my phone or phone charger. When I use phoneboxes I feel like people are looking at me wondering why on Earth I am in one. It makes me feel like I am on a secret mission!
