Kids, we need to get this place moving. We need a hot topic and not the crappy faux-goth sh.tmongerer. Sex? Violence? Drugs? What do you think about sex violence drugs? Which is your least favourite?

To celebrate the fast approaching Glastonbury festival, I cast my vote in favour of the 'Drugs' option.

Which is the worst and most illegal drug? Is the sort of talk that gets a forum exterminated? I'll go look.

Yes it is. "User's web site may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, "spam," fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity."
What is mlm? Sounds like something that appear next to a Casual Encounters ad on craigslist. It doesn't talk about violence though, so I assume we can talk about it to our collective heart's content.

Why can't we promote the use of alcohol? Does that mean we can still talk about it, as long as we're not telling each other to follow suit? I suppose we can discuss what the worst and most illegal drug is, as long as we in no way condone its use...

I voted for sex, tying all three at 1 vote each. That's what I call not promoting anything.

I'm too indecisive to sway this vote. I'm waiting for another to roll in and tip the balance.

It's a shame we're not allowed to promote pyramid schemes. It's going to ruin all of the big pyramid scheme-based plans.
I voted for violence. At a push, I'd say it's the one I know the very least about, and it would therefore be the one into which I'd most like to delve. Is the best kind of violence the punching or the cutting? Is guns a violence? Is dogs a violence?
The worst drug is poppers. The worst sex is that kind where the other person starts to heckle you.

I think guns is a violence, but I'm not sure about dogs. I think it depends on how the dogs happens.

Dogs can also be a sex. And a couple of letters away from being a drugs.

Poppers aren't the worst drug.

I think it depends on the way you use the word worst. If you use it as in 'that was the worst film I've ever seen' I think they probably are.

I've never done poppers. They've really never appealed to me. But you know who has? My father, and that's not a fact I'm happy about.
In terms of mental and emotional and physical awfulness, E is the worst drug to me.

I've never really liked heroin, but all of the people I've met under its influence have been unwashed and homeless, so it could just be through association.

Where do sausages sandwiches sit in all this? I'd vote for that.
In the meantime, I've said sex.
There two things are unrelated.

I've just realised that although we're not allowed to promote illegal drugs, or indeed alcohol, that still leaves us with the heady world of legal drugs to promote! The best legal drug I've tried was peyote, or rather I suppose mescaline, but in cactus form it is legal as opposed to mescaline powder which is illegal and therefore BAD AND WRONG. It was great though, guys, albeit pricy and unpleasant to consume.
Maybe Anthony will treat us with a tale of all the fun he's had with cough syrup.

I would love to hear that. I've been searching for some with DXM in for some time - what brand is it that has it in?

I've had some quite fun prescription painkillers over the years, mostly just a bit of tunnel vision and some pleasant floaty experiences. Hardly peyote, but I enjoyed it none the less. Also helped take my mind off the fact that I'd dislocated my knee.
Which was nice.

curse DXM in the ass. The worst night of my life was caused by that evil stuff when I thought I was eating harmless ectasy. In summary, I was in Nottingham, insane, and trying to fight the voice in my head that was telling me to kill all my friends. I succeeded in killing nobody. The only good thing was I lost the power to identify faces properly and when I'd take my sunglasses off everyone's face would turn into those women from that Aphex Twin video. Which was good if you like nightmares.

Yeah, frightmares more like!
I smoked a kind of drug today. A cigar. One of those fattish ones you buy in singular form in a tube. I don't often smoke cigars, but I've started watching Battlestar Galactica recently, and due to all the cigar smoking, it's made me want to smoke a cigar. Needless to say it was the biggest waste of time ever. What does everybody think of cigars? Better or worse than DXM? Better or worse than sausage sandwiches?

I don't really 'get' cigars. I certainly 'get' sausage sandwiches.
Big time.

Which is the worst and most illegal drug? Is the sort of talk that gets a forum exterminated? I'll go look. Where do 'drugs' end, and 'poisons' begin? I think if we found that thin, hazy line, we could define the thing on the immediate edge of the drug-side as the worst drug, (and, of course, the first thing on the edge of the poison-side as the best drug). Oddly, the rules don't seem to prohibit the promotion of poisons. Just goes to show how futile the governing of human communities is!
